--Very well then. [ he makes a move to walk towards the door, but then he stops, turns and strides purposefully towards gerome before he leans down and captures his lips in another kiss ]

[ he could get used to goodbye kisses. leaning up to meet owain and reaching for his hand. more tender handholding too, thanks ]

[ he keeps the kiss going for a moment longer before pulling away. he gives gerome's hand one final squeeze before letting go ]

I'll be back shortly.

Until you return to my side, then. [ one more kiss couldn't hurt, could it? ... yes, probably. reluctantly dropping his hand to the bed. ]

You make it hard to leave your side. [ he leans in closer as though he's going to kiss his lips again, but instead presses a quick one to his nose before he walks away and leaves the room ]

[ sits around for a few minutes like "yeah i should lock that door" before his mind exits the gutter.

just.

drops back to the ground and goes back to looking for his shoe. ]

[ he's totally making breakfast with a dopey smile on his face ]

[ thankfully no one will question the sight of owain smiling. it's the perfect cover!

also, he eventually finds his shoe and gets back on the bed. this is a good day. a weird, good day. ]

[ eventually comes back, knocking on the door with his elbow so he could be let back in ]

[ when he hears the knock, he looks to the now awake minerva. ]

Please don't bite him. [ softly. she yawns and rolls over, which he accepts as her agreement not to bite owain anymore. straightening his clothes as he walks over and opens the door. ]

[ presents two plates that look like this ]

I've returned with breakfast!

[ wait. looks at the plates, looks at owain. ]

[swordhandled]

I hope you like eggs!

[maskarang]

I have no qualms with them.

[swordhandled]

I'm glad!

[ walking into the room and setting down on the bed so they can eat ]

[ following and sitting with him. gonna take a plate, tear a piece of the bread and gently poke the egg. ]

Did you really make this?

[swordhandled]

I did! It was simple, really.

[maskarang]

[ egg poke, gotta make sure to get as much yolk on the toast as possible. soak it up so it doesn't dribble on him, toast!! ]

The ingredients, yes. The presentation is more complex.

I know what looks nice. [ giving him a look out of the corner of his eye

[ continues obliviously dabbing his eggs. this takes a lot of concentration, owain!! ]

[ grins as he starts eating his own breakfast ]

[ STILL DABBING. except it's basically mush at this point so his hand is covered in egg. that's... better??? better than it being on his face, he guesses. gonna start eating as cautiously as he can to avoid drips and spills.

intense concentration ]

--There's a mess on your hands, you know.

[ he looks over and the mushy toast drops on his shirt ]

What?

[ takes his messy hand and just wipes off some of the mess with his finger

before popping his finger into his mouth ]
