[ a beat ] At our wedding?

[ shelving the "now" to focus on the wedding. ] Gods, no. I'm no dancer, Owain. Do I look like I have Inigo's lithe, supple body?

[ taking this moment to look over gerome's entire body ] No, yours is better.

[ looking down, looking up ] You've never seen Inigo dance.

[swordhandled]

Perhaps not officially.

And you never will. He has the skill, but not the confidence. [ enough about inigo though. getting up and walking over to owain again. grabbing both owain's hands and putting one on his hip. the other.........

he stares at and then puts on his other hip. that's where that goes, right? ]

That I'm aware of. [ he was about to say something about maybe talking to their friend later when gerome stands up and walks towards him

oh. he flushes, but grips gerome's hip ] Dance with me, Gerome?

No. ... But I will move with you. In a circle. [ stepping closer and putting his hands on owains hips too. this is definitely (not) how you're supposed to do this. ]

That's usually dancing. [ he says with a teasing lilt of his voice as he starts swaying in pace ]

[maskarang]

Rhythmic walking. [ sways... with... ]

[swordhandled]

[ starts humming a romantic song ]

[maskarang]

[ ah... his expression softens once owain starts humming. this is probably important to owain, which means it's important to him, too. ] It wouldn't be hard to find music.

If you insist. [ in the meantime, he could get more comfortable. like this, it's a little difficult to get close. he moves one hand to slide it under owain's before linking their hands and holding them up. that's... better.

his other hand, he moves onto the small of owain's back. slowly resumes the swaying. ]

For now, this is fine. [ he presses closer to gerome, letting them sway in place to the music that owain is humming. this is absolutely perfect for their first dance together, quite hoenstly. ]

[ it's his first dance with anyone, really. he assumes the same is true for owain.

when the humming starts back up, he presses a light kiss to owain's forehead. this isn't as bad as he thought it'd be. ]

[ is anything that gerome does with owain really as bad as he thought it'll be?
