[ a sweet end to a sweet, passingly rhythmic dance. not long after their lips meet (and you're joking if you think gerome isn't pressing back), minerva cries out and flies over. she lands on both their shoulders and starts flapping madly about ]

[ owain can't help but laugh as minerva flies and lands on them. he's reaching up to try and get her down with as little damage to both him and gerome in the process ]

It's alright, it's alright, Minerva!

Minerva, please— [ between owain's soothing voice, his reaching, and gerome's cautious pats, Minerva calms enough to stop flapping her wings. she moves onto gerome's shoulders. she's a lot heavier than he would expect, and he practically slouches over as he inches toward the bed to edge her onto it instead of him. ]

[ owain follows after gerome, still placating minerva with his voice as they get her on the bed ] I suppose it was my fault here.

[ she settles onto the bed and gerome steps back, crossing his arms tiredly ] If anything, we share the blame.

... Yes. As luck would have it, you broke my fall. [ if luck is the right word. it probably is. for one of them. both of them. he clears his throat and looks at minerva, who starts raising her wings again.

[ seeing them back away, minerva claws at the bed and settles down comfortably. watching. waiting. ]

The bolder we get, the quicker she is to anger. Minerva... Surely you didn't make this much of a fuss when mother and father were together...?

... You may be right. Mother doted on Minerva more than anyone else. Father... Well, it's obvious most of his affection went to Chrom.

[ a soft sigh. he's going to tempt fate and rest his head on owain's lap, but he keeps a close eye on minerva at the same time. ]

He's just dedicated, and it's hard to not dote on Minerva.
