[ quickly, he's stripped and yeah that sure is a lance wound in his chest. right at home with all the other various scars he has crossing it ]

Gods... [ there is a lot to unpack here. when he's done dealing, he drags himself upright by half supporting himself on the bed and starts dragging owain to the bathroom. ]

The wound needs to be cleaned.

Yeah, yeah I know...[ letting himself be dragged there. he's letting gerome have this for now ]

Why didn't you speak up sooner? [ and he was the one being badgered. with quick movements, he grabs a rag and wets it. then dabs at the wounds.

it's probably kind of rough but at least he's being thorough ]

Ugh, I will not endure a second round of this. [ inigo war flashbacks ] No squirming! And no speaking! Who knows what idiocy will slip from your mouth.

[ continues cleaning!!! when he's done, he starts looking for something to disinfect it and also anything he can use as gauze. ]

[ there's... soap?? and there's the makeshift bandages owain's made ]

[ for some reason owain would probably complain a lot more about soap in his wounds ]

I'm not. And no more talking. [ ok there's nothing here so... settling for the bandages, he guesses. limping back into the room to get them and coming back to bandage owain up. he deviously uses all of them ]

[ he's frowning but waiting patiently as gerome bandages him up. it's better than nothing after all. also wow, as though owain won't just make new ones if needed!! ]

but no, as soon as owain's back is turned he pulls off his vest and shirt and lets them drop to the floor. the gloves soon join them, and... he actually removes his mask to set it to the side. just gonna start tiredly splashing his face with cold water. ]

[ looking up and glaring over at him ]

This is temporary.

[ walking up to him, just looking at him in the face ]

[ reaching up and stopping his hand before it touches gerome ]

[ that sobers him up far more than the water ever could. standing upright now ]

Owain, enough. I've been party to your maddening whims for too long. The mask will stay on and I will hear no more of it. And— [ gesturing to his hand ] —you will not reach for me again. Do you understand?

[ Owain's face hardens at that. He's still blushing, but he's not going to say anything in response to Gerome's request, because he's clearly not going to honor it. That had drops to his shoulder and grips him. ]

Hold still while I look you over.

[ looking hard at the hand for a while. shrugging it off of him and reaching for his mask, which he promptly puts back on. ]

Quickly. I still need to see to Minerva. [ he has a couple of scars, the worst of which seem pretty old and are mostly from arrows and magic. overall, not that many though. armor and all. his injuries from the attack are mostly minor, but there is a burn that should probably be tended to on one of his shoulders. ]
