[ that sobers him up far more than the water ever could. standing upright now ]
Owain, enough. I've been party to your maddening whims for too long. The mask will stay on and I will hear no more of it. And— [ gesturing to his hand ] —you will not reach for me again. Do you understand?
[ Owain's face hardens at that. He's still blushing, but he's not going to say anything in response to Gerome's request, because he's clearly not going to honor it. That had drops to his shoulder and grips him. ]
[ looking hard at the hand for a while. shrugging it off of him and reaching for his mask, which he promptly puts back on. ]
Quickly. I still need to see to Minerva. [ he has a couple of scars, the worst of which seem pretty old and are mostly from arrows and magic. overall, not that many though. armor and all. his injuries from the attack are mostly minor, but there is a burn that should probably be tended to on one of his shoulders. ]
[ he's reaching for a rag, and dousing it in water before wringing it out and slowly working it over the injury. he's gentle, and he's doing it carefully, his fingers trailing along gerome's bare skin. ]
[ bandages he can do. picking up his shirt and just starts shredding it into bandages. it's a lost cause anyway. if the burn is making him uncomfortable, he's not really showing it. ]
... And you'll badger me until you get your way. As with everything. [ he can't even sigh at this point. he pushes his way past owain to head toward his closet. ]
[ yellow is not his color unless it's part of the trim. he picks out the warmest thing he can find that'll fit him and throws it on the bed. some shoes too, which come with him when he goes to sit down
sitting on the bed and—guess what. he still had some armor on. time for some more strap undoing and armor shedding! this time, it's his legs ]
[ for him, black is the trim. but he's coming out of the bathroom with the new bandages and he waits for gerome to finish taking off his leg armor before walking over and sitting on the bed. ]
[ again, being gentle as he bandages gerome up. unlike him, he's only using what's necessary, but he's taking far more time than what's needed to look over the bandaging and make sure that everything is fine and hunky dory ]
[ by this time he's become extremely adept at ignoring owain's looks. he doesn't so much as glance in owain's direction while dressing (and he actually takes the time to make sure every button and accessory is fashioned neatly), or while sitting down to put on owain's shoes. which. probably fit well enough? ]
