[ about a minute later gerome cracks open the door. once he sees who it is, there's the sound of something heavy and metal gently hitting the ground before he opens the door enough for owain to see all of him.

he's, uh, fully dressed and in his armor. and wearing his mask. yeah. ]

What do you want?

[ Owain is wearing his pajamas printed with tiny swords!! ]

Were you aware that there was a slumber party tonight?

[ if he bats an eye at those pjs, owain can't see it because his mask is stupid ]

... Why?

So you could come!

[ starts shutting the door ]

[ sticks his foot in the doorway ]

[ you're lucky he's not cruel enough to slam the door ]

Look, alright, I was partly joking about you coming to the slumber party.

And the other part is important enough to warrant this visit. [ ...

fine. he steps back and opens the door enough for owain to come in. enjoy the very gold, very glittery room. and, yes, his axe is by the door. go figure. also, minervas sleeping on the bed. ]

... Unfortunately. I can only assume they crafted the room with Minerva in mind. She has a fondness for anything that sparkles. [ ahem. ] Now, Focus.

It suits her.

[ coughs but yes ] Honestly, I just wanted to see how you were.

Well, like I said, there's a slumber party and you weren't there. I know you're not one to go to them, but still--

Minerva is the only company I need.

What about her? Don't you think she might like more company?

... Giving her a life with her own kind is why I brought her to the past. You know that. [ so, yeah?? ] Are you offering to be her playmate?
