We haven't had the opportunity. We were separated and then there were other concerns to worry about.

And it doesn't do us good to talk about the past when we had a war to fight.

And we have even less reason to discuss it now that the war has ended. Simple, practical reasons, but none of them mean our wounds have healed. All we've done is left them to fester.
