Week 3, Sunday (Post Execution)

[ after about an hour of standing outside owain's door, gerome heads to his room to check on minerva. cue opening the door! ]

[ owain is kneeling on the ground in front of minerva, he's got a pleading look in his eyes as he looks into hers ]

Are you sure you don't know where he is? Minerva, please any help you can give me would be great.

[maskarang]

[ ... that's certainly a sight. seeing this, he almost feels guilty for waiting so long. at least minerva responds to the plea and gently bumps her head against owain's, directing him to the door.

gerome clears his throat. ] Owain.

[swordhandled]

Huh, Min-- [ and then he hears gerome speak and he turns around, scrambling to stand up. he trips slightly, but stands up with no problems after that ]

Gerome, there you are!

[maskarang]

[ owain's tripping... that isn't a good sign. he takes several quick steps forward until he's by owain's side. ]

...Y-yes, my apologies for keeping you waiting. Have you been here long?

[swordhandled]

[ he shakes his head ] Not too long; I had thought you'd be here...?

[maskarang]

I was for a moment.

Then...?

[maskarang]

I went to your room.

[swordhandled]

Why my room?

[maskarang]

[ he casts a quiet glance to minerva. minerva cutely cries in his direction! ]

O-oh, um...

Ooh boy, I messed this up, didn't I?

[maskarang]

[ and off comes the mask! ] No, I'm the one who assumed too much. I should have told you before we parted.

[swordhandled]

I should have figured that you'd want some... additional privacy.

[maskarang]

Stop there, I won't let you take the blame for this. Not today. [ cupping the side of his face. ]

[swordhandled]

Let's both take the blame here. [ tilts his face into gerome's hands ]

So, whenever we need additional privacy, my room?

[maskarang]

[ owain...! he supposes there's no point in arguing over this, telling owain not to feel something won't make him stop anyway. but his frown makes his opinion on this clear regardless. ]

Unfortunately, yes. I'm afraid I can't bring myself to do much more than kiss in Minerva's presence. It would feel... improper. [ minerva doesn't need to see more anyway?? and also, would probably breathe fire on them. ]

[ owain's lucky that they're still in the honeymoon period or else they'd be arguing again!! ]

Understandable. She shouldn't be subjected to our... ah, affections, more than she already is.

[maskarang]

[ their first argument would be over something dumb, wouldn't it. ]

Exactly right. It's a shame we didn't think of this sooner. It would have saved us some trouble yesterday.

It would have, but now we have that decided. It makes things much simpler.

[maskarang]

So long as we exercise moderation. I'd prefer not to leave Minerva alone at night, at least not for long.

We should be capable of, now that we've already somewhat experienced uniting our bodies together

We have. ... Though, this hardly feels like the first time I've heard you say this so gleefully. Didn't you mention something about consummation at trial?

[ come on, like he didn't hear that line. ]

[swordhandled]

Ah, well-- I knew they wouldn't have been satisfied until they got some sort of answer. So, I simply told the truth.

You did well. Besides, I couldn't help but think there was something adorable about the evasion. [ have a quick peck on the lips ]
